Josh + Wrenn

Josh and Wrenn’s wedding took place at  Driftwood Beach in Jekyll Island. Aside from Wrenn being  my cousin (allowing me to spend entire weekend with my family) I loved everything, and I mean everything about this wedding! Wrenn was just so full of joy, happiness, and laughter  from the time I got there Friday night all the way  to Sunday afternoon when I left.

The morning of the big day was very cloudy and gloomy, but Wrenn did not let that get her down. She was so excited to be marrying Josh that nothing else mattered-you can tell just how happy she is in all of these photos.

By the time the ceremony started the sun had decided to come out! Along with the beautiful sunlight shining down on us  we also were joined by jumping dolphins just 20 feet away from everyone, along  with Captain Jack Sparrow. Talk about an eventful ceremony!

Thank you Josh& Wrenn for sharing your big day with me!! I don’t think I have ever seen two people so excited to be together and you two are absolutely perfect for one another!! I love you guys!!!

Steven + Alyssa

I loved loved loved working with this couple on their wedding day along with all of their sweet family and friends. I honestly  just love the bride to pieces! Alyssa is such a down to earth, fun, laid back girl that is always smiling. I met her last March almost exactly a year before her wedding date and not only was I booked for the wedding but throughout  that year we did a family session, engagement session, and Alyssa did a boudoir session.

On the morning of the wedding Alyssa and her bridesmaids got ready at The Veranda Salon and Spa  in Warner Robins, GA. All of her bridesmaids were so sweet and helpful and anytime I needed anything they did not hesitate to help. I really couldn’t have asked for a better group of ladies to work with.  Honestly, everyone that was a part of their wedding day was AMAZING!  They all have big, warm hearts for each other and for those around them. You can’t help but to have a good time.

Steven and Alyssa are truly a great couple. Their day was filled with tons of goofiness, love, dancing and laughter. Thank you both for allowing me to be part of so many memories this past year! Enjoy your sneak peek!

It’s the little things that make me the happiest <3

A couple of weeks ago I came across a blog  by 4 little Fergusons and I read these two articles .

Dear Mom On The IPhone

Dear Dad in the Recliner

This was a real eye opener for me. With today’s technology it’s so easy to get on your phone and spend half an hour (if not more) on Facebook, Instagram, and other apps/games that smart phones have.

One week ago I decided to deactivate my Facebook. Reading these articles helped me realize that I was spending WAY too much time on there (more than  I care to admit!)   In a weeks time I was able to capture all of  these  moments with my husband and children. These moments may not seem like a big deal but to our family of {4}  they mean everything. It’s the small innocent moments that make us the happiest. One day our children will be grown and they will  not want us to be  involved in every little thing that they do.  I want to have as many  memories of my children that I can  but  I also want them to have memories of me being there. When they are older I want them to be able to remember me watching them play,  listening  to them read, or watching them practice at a sport they enjoy. I don’t want them to remember me always putting my finger up saying “Just one minute,  I will look in a second.” ..and by the time you look up their done.

We get so wrapped up in what others are doing with their lives that we tend to ignore what’s going on in ours. We  need to spend more time with our spouses and children. God has given us a beautiful life with amazing people who love us-ENJOY THEM and be HAPPY ❤
